Julia brings more than five years of psychiatric experience and a warm, collaborative style to every patient relationship. A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she is also a co-founder of Psychiatric Urgent Care of Huntsville.

A proud wife of a veteran and mother of two young sons, Julia believes psychiatry is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and help people navigate difficult seasons with skill, compassion, and hope.

Priya graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017 and has practiced medicine since then. Her passion for psychiatry led her to co-found both Psychiatric Urgent Care of Huntsville and Next Chapter Behavioral Health.

As a first-generation American, Priya understands how culture, family, and community can shape the way people experience mental health and seek care. Outside the office, she values time with her husband, young daughter and son, extended family, friends, and community. Her goal is to help every patient feel heard, supported, and hopeful about what comes next.

Payment

Rates shown reflect a 25% same-day self-pay discount. Payment is due at the time of service. We currently accept debit and credit cards only.

Out-of-network reimbursement

We can provide a superbill containing the information needed to submit a claim directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your individual plan and is not guaranteed. We recommend confirming your out-of-network behavioral health benefits before your appointment.

Credentialing update

Insurance participation is in progress.

Next Chapter Behavioral Health is currently completing credentialing with:

    Complete your intake forms. The $225 evaluation is paid in full to confirm.

  3. Your first visit

    60 minutes in the office: a comprehensive evaluation and conversation.

  4. Follow-ups

    15-minute visits, in the office or by video, $125 self-pay.
